lyrics

I feel the sunshine on my skin
I thank God for everything
All of the good and the bad
In my life

It brought me to right where I am
More joy than I’ve ever had
Walking around in the woods
With my son
Talking to God

I used to have so many fears
I was pulled around I was yanked
Now they’re all fading away
Everyday

Everything falls right into place
The tension and then the release
Ask and then you shall receive
What you need
And more than you hoped for

Oh what a time to be alive
The world crumbles before our eyes
Gone’s the facade that disguised
The insides

And now we see what lies beneath
Just the rotted boards and the beams
Soft with decay, they’ll soon lay
On the ground
Return to the earth

And yet it seems there’s but a few
Who care what is actually true
Most will hold close to delusions
That soothe

But from destruction comes new life
If you hold to the truth you will thrive
Never despair you are where
You’re supposed
To be in this moment

And could this life be all a test
Before we’re conceived we accept
The challenge to see through the lies
And do right

And are we at the very end
After the reign of Christ
One Thousand years just have might
Gone by
That we don’t remember

And I do not pretend to know
How deep the mystery goes
All I can hope is to not
Be distraught

Over the things that waste our time
They pull our hearts and our minds
Away from from the greatness of life
What ignites
The fire inside us

Oh Praise the Lord our God Most High
On His throne above the sky
Creator and Giver of life
His Design

You see it everywhere you turn
The metal, the rock, and the dirt
The trees, and the plants, and the birds
There’s no words
To do it all justice

And every moment everyone
Has the choice of what will become
Will you try multiplying the beauty
Of life

Or will you choose instead to fall
Into apathy of the call
To use what you have for much more
Than your own
Worldly desires

And every moment everyone
Has the choice of what will become
Will you try multiplying the beauty
Of life

Or will you choose instead to fall
Into apathy of the call
To use what you have for much more
Than your own
Selfish desires
